The Employee milestone reward scheme is designed to recognise and reward our loyal employees. We want to celebrate that dedication and success and for our teams to know they are very much appreciated.

  1. This revised scheme is effective from 1st October 2019 and replaces the previous Employee Milestone Policy. For those employees who had been distributed vouchers under the old policy terms and conditions, they are free to use them as specified in the previous policy (one year from receipt).

  2. The length of service dates are relevant to the number of years the employee has worked for Andrew Brownsword Hotels or ABode Hotels or one of its associated companies.

  3. A maximum of 1 room and 2 employees per stay for any one booking will be permitted i.e. group bookings won’t be available for multiple numbers of employees.

  4. Hotels are encouraged to celebrate all anniversaries via staff notice boards/communication and approved social media.

  5. The scheme is in no way part of employee’s terms and conditions of employment nor does it constitute a contractual entitlement and it may be withdrawn entirely or changed with one month’s notice. In the event of a dispute we reserve the right to interpret this scheme as we believe it appropriate.

  6. Employees must present the voucher when arriving at the relevant hotel where they have made the booking or redeeming the reward.

  7. For any hotel meals/stays, any cost over and above the value of the voucher must be settled by the employee before leaving the hotel.

  8. For lunch/dinner for two in the restaurant the employee can enjoy a three-course meal with a complimentary bottle of house wine or order other beverages of their choice which equate to the same value. Any additional food/beverages/extras must be paid for by the employee on the night/on check out (if staying overnight).

  9. Employees cannot use the vouchers if they are in their notice period or after they have left the Company.

  10. Any extra days off awarded as part of this scheme must be requested and approved by the employee’s manager and taken within 1 year of the anniversary accruing. These days off must be recorded on Fourth.
